Located at Halfwood Farm on Long Island’s North Fork, Saltaire Gundogs is owned and operated by Sonny and Danielle Kilfoyle. Our lives are dedicated to breeding, training, sourcing, competing, and working with exceptional English Cocker Spaniels. We offer stud service in house and can ship fresh chilled or frozen semen anywhere within the US. If you’re looking for a top-class shooting or hunting dog developed with patience and attention to detail, or a thoughtfully bred puppy, please feel free to give us a call. What we do
At Saltaire Gundogs, dogs are our passion. From our first trip out to the kennel in the morning to the last check at night before bed, everything is done with care and attention to detail. The dogs we breed we train to the highest standard and do what Cockers were originally bred to do: HUNT, and we do this twelve months of the year. Our dogs are versatile hunters that thrive on Pheasant, Woodcock, Grouse and Rabbit alike. Between hunting wild birds in places like the Maine woods, guiding clients on walk up days, Picking up at estate shoots, and competing successfully in field trials, our dogs are the epitome of what working Cockers can be.
